Dale grew up in Postville, Iowa and moved to Oelwein in 1963. He was a postal carrier for the Oelwein Post Office until his retirement in 2000. He enjoys spending time with family and friends and wintering in Texas. Dale and his wife, Liz have two sons, Allen and Todd and are members of Christ United Presbyterian Church, Oelwein. He is also a member of the Hebron Masonic Lodge #374 A.F. & A.M. Dale has been employed at the funeral home since 2001.
