Earle, 88, of Hazleton, Iowa died on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the West Village Care Center at Independence, Iowa Funeral Service: 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 26, 2010 at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein, Iowa with Vic Collins officiating; Visitation from 1:00 P.M. to service time on Friday at the funeral home; Interment at Grandview Cemetery at Fayette, Iowa with graveside military rites by the Iowa National Guard Honor Guard Memorials may be given in his name to Cedar Valley Hospice. Beier)--and a Niece (Pamela Wynn). Wayne William Earle was born on May 28, 1921 at Albany, Iowa the son of William and Lavina (Harriman) Earle. He attended the Albany schools. Wayne married Augusta Rose Pfister on November 20, 1940 at West Union, Iowa. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Navy. Wayne worked for the Chicago Great Western Railroad for many years and also in delivery at Bachman Tool & Die in Independence, Iowa. He and Augusta lived in the Fayette and Hazleton area for many years. Wayne enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family.
