Tim was born on April 26, 1959, in Aldershot, England to Geoffrey and Susan Pullen. Tim’s father was in the service, and he ended up going to school in England, Singapore and Germany. Tim became a paratrooper in his early 20s in England and thereafter attended Kings College in London to pursue electrical engineering. He worked on an offshore oil rig outside of Cape Town, South Africa, and later worked in England and the United States within the field of engineering.
He met Linda (Nus) Clark whom he married on October 2, 2004, in Market Harborough, England. They moved from various locations with his work, from Arizona, England, California, Ohio and back home to Iowa. Tim enjoyed the great outdoors, adored animals, was interested in amateur radio and steam powered trains and always looked forward to visiting the family farm outside of Arlington. He was a great storyteller and often had people questioning some of his journeys to the outback of Africa to the icy waters of Denmark.
Tim is survived by his wife of 21 years and his four-legged girls, Penny and Lola, along with brother Christopher (Sharon) and nephew Geoff, and nieces Sarah and Jennifer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and brother Jason.
A special thank you to the staff at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids for their care and compassion.
