Thomas L. "Tom" Beltz, 65, of Arlington, Iowa died Wednesday evening, October 7, 2015 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa.

Memorial Service: 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Church of Christ in Arlington with Rev. Scott Hall officiating.
Visitation: 10:00 A.M. to service time on Saturday at the church.
Inurnment: Taylorsville Cemetery, Arlington, Iowa.

Memorials may be directed in his name to the Church of Christ, Arlington or Arlington Community and Event Center.

Thomas Lee Beltz was born June 24, 1950 at Manchester, Iowa the son of Orville A. and Jean E. (Hartling) Beltz. He attended Starmont Community School. Tom was a member of the Church of Christ in Arlington. He was a mega Cubs fan. Tom also enjoyed feeding the birds, reading historic and western books and watching TV.

Thomas is survived by his brother: Glenn (Kaye) Truesdell of Rock Falls, Illinois;
sister: Phyllis Kirk of Arlington;
4 nephews and 1 niece: Mark (Jennifer) Truesdell, Scott Truesdell, Aaron Truesdell, Amanda (Josh) Magie and Jason Kirk;
5 great nieces and nephews: Zack and Jenna Truesdell, Mia and Jack Truesdell and Kate Magie;
2 aunts: Laura Corbin of Fayette and Virginia Wilkie of Florida;
and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and uncles.
