Ronda M. Morris, 61, of Oelwein, Iowa, died, Thursday, May 7, 2026, at MercyOne Oelwein Medical Center in Oelwein, Iowa.

Ronda Mae Burns was born July 29, 1964, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of William Jay and Wanda Mae (Kress) Burns. She graduated from Starmont High School with the class of 1983. Ronda continued her education at Upper Iowa University where she graduated with her degree in accounting. She worked at various restaurants and the Movie Gallery. Ronda enjoyed fishing, sewing, gardening, feeding and watching the squirrels, stargazing on the porch and playing with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her 2 children: Becca Lee of Oelwein and Zach (Amanda) Farrenkopf of Owatonna, Minnesota; Boyfriend: William Murphy of Oelwein; Mother: Wanda Tappe of Oelwein; 4 Grandchildren: Preston, Aleaha, Kaelyn and Jordan; Sister: Juleen (James) Long of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma;
2 Brothers: William (Tracie) Burns of Marseilles, Illinois and Scott (Lynelle) Burns of Woodridge, Illinois; Many Nieces and Nephews and Dog: Midnight

She is preceded in death by her grandparents.
