Mary M. Patterson, 92, of Oelwein, Iowa died on Tuesday morning, June 24, 2014 at Country View Care Center in rural Waterloo.

Graveside Memorial Service: 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein, with Deacon Jim Patera officiating.
There will not be a visitation. Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Mary Magdalena Patterson was born on January 2, 1922 in Oelwein, Iowa, the daughter of Vern V. & Martha (Primus) Patterson. She graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic High School in the class of 1939. Mary was a homemaker and cared for her parents. She was a lifelong Oelwein resident until she moved to Country View, where she made her home for the past two years. Mary was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Rosary Society. She will be remembered for her deep Catholic faith, her sense of humor, her laugh, her smile and her spunky personality.

Mary is survived by nieces & nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Anna Michels and a brother: Joe Patterson.
