Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the Christ United Presbyterian Church in Oelwein, Iowa; Officiating: Rev. Charis Combs-Lay; Visitation: from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein and after 9:30 A.M. on Wednesday at the church; Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery at Oelwein, Iowa

Marvin Raymond Kiel was born on July 10, 1910 at Oelwein, Iowa, the son of Bert and Leona (Ridler) Kiel. He received his education in the Oelwein schools. Marvin married Elaine Marie Crain at Oelwein, Iowa in 1939. Elaine died on April 1, 1985. On September 25, 1989, Marvin married Dorothy Ann Marten Wolfgram at Oelwein, Iowa. Marvin was a lifelong Oelwein area resident and farmer. He was a member of the Christ United Presbyterian Church in Oelwein.

He was preceded in death by his Parents--1st Wife (Elaine M. Kiel)--and 2 Brothers (Alvin Kiel and Calvin Kiel).
