Kurtis Gregory Reidy Obituary (1999

Kurtis Reidy, son of John and Karla Reidy of Winthrop, Iowa, passed away Sunday, September 6th , 2015. He was born on January 29th, 1999. His sister, Kara Reidy Hoyle (husband Joel), and his nephews, Jason and Evan, and niece, Eastyn, will always be in his heart as he will be in theirs. There are many other family members that will have great memories of Kurtis. His first love was family, and then hockey, playing for the Waterloo Warriors High School team. His very special girlfriend, Katheryn Wood of Waterloo, Iowa, has wonderful memories, as well. Kurt would want to be remembered for his athleticism, his leadership and his love for all that knew him. A Celebration of Kurt's Life will be held at the Monti Community Center, located at 2854 Washington Avenue; Coggon, Iowa, (monticc.com for directions) on Tuesday, September 8th from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and on Wednesday, September 9th from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.. A short memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. with burial at the St. Pats Monti Cemetery.
