Kevin J. Maddox, 65, of Winthrop, Iowa, died Thursday evening, March 5, 2026, at West Village Care Center in Independence, Iowa.

There will be no services at this time.
Inurnment: At a later date Fremont Cemetery, Winthrop.

Kevin Jay Maddox was born September 11, 1960, in Golden, Colorado, the son of Howard Allen and Martha Ester (Laplander) Maddox. He graduated from Golden high school with the class of 1979. Kevin went on to work as an intermail associate. He enjoyed fishing and driving.

Kevin is survived by his siblings: Jody (Dave) Peck of Winthrop, Debbie Klepfer of Kimberly, Idaho and Darrell (Eileen) Maddox of Durango, Colorado; and multiple nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
