Joyce Therese Weber

Joyce T. "Dolly" Weber, 81, of Pleasanton, California and formerly of Oelwein, Iowa, died Friday, June 8, 2012 in Pleasanton, California.

Graveside Service: 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 22, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery, Fairbank, Iowa with Rev. Harry Koelker officiating.
Interment: Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery, Fairbank, Iowa.

Joyce "Dolly" Therese Rechkemmer was born June 13, 1930, at Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Claire L. and Elsie W. (Weber) Rechkemmer. She graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic School in 1948. On October 2, 1954, Joyce was united in marriage to Francis Weber at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. They later divorced. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Joyce lived in Oelwein for 38 years. She then moved to the San Francisco Bay area in 1983. She spent the last 5 years in Pleasanton California near her children. Joyce enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. She also enjoyed watching baseball and football. Her favorite teams were the San Francisco Giants and San Francisco 49ers. Joyce was a very loving and kind person, always helping those in need. We will miss her smile and laugh.

Joyce is survived by her Daughter, Johnna (Rick) Ramos of Sparks, Nevada;
Son, Steve (Tami) Weber of Brentwood, California;
4 Grandchildren, Tim, Amanda, Allison and Alejandro;
1 Great Grandson, Braven;
1 Brother, W.P. "Bill" (Mary) Rechkemmer of Waverly, Iowa; and
1 Sister-in-law, Shirley Rechkemmer of Oelwein, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her Parents; and Brother, L.T. "Buzz" Rechkemmer.
