Josephine M. Nading, 82, of Davenport and formerly of Oelwein, Iowa died Thursday morning, January 16, 2014 at Genesis East Hospital in Davenport, Iowa. Mass of Christian Burial: 1:30 P.M. Monday, January 20, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oelwein with Rev. Paul C. McManus officiating. Visitation: 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein. Parish Scripture Service: 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein, Iowa. A Memorial Fund has been established in her name. Josephine Mary Villa was born January 26, 1931 at Oelwein, Iowa the daughter of Julius M. and Delfina (Hernandez) Villa. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1949. On June 27, 1953, she was united in marriage to Richard Dean Nading at Oelwein. Josephine was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rosary Society, Northeast Iowa MS Support Group and the Diabetic Association Support Group. Josephine is survived by her 3 sons, Douglas Nading of Melbourne, Florida, Daniel (Sheryl) Nading of Oelwein and Dean (Kris) Nading of Bettendorf; 4 daughters, Maribeth (Steve) Chase of Davenport, Marcia (Jon) Olsen of Burlington, Monica Nading of Palm Bay, Florida and Melinda "Mindy" (Chad) Lillibridge of Orion, Illinois; 14 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Francis Villa of Whiting, Indiana; 1 sister, Delfina M. Detty of Seminole, Florida; 2 half sisters, Rosemary (Ruben) Munoz of Barham, Illinois, and Bertha Klein of Nazareth, Texas; and 2 half brothers, Joe (Vicky) Villa of West Union and Manuel (Kathy) Villa of Oelwein. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband on July 13, 1992; infant son in 1957; son, Donald in 1989; and 4 brothers, Julius Villa, Richard Villa, Robert Villa and Jesse Villa; 2 sisters, Mary Zaragoza and Virginia Dryden; and 1 half sister, Marguerite Wiley.
