Josephine Ann Greco was born April 20, 1933, in Oelwein, Iowa, the daughter of Pasquale and Emilia (DeDeco) Greco. She graduated from Oelwein High School with the class of 1951. On August 24, 1957, Josephine was united in marriage to James Allen Lilly at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oelwein. To this union they were blessed with 8 wonderful children. She was a homemaker and dedicated her life to her family. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Cedar Falls.

Josephine is survived by her 8 children: Kim (Dan) Grevas of Rosemount, Minnesota, Colleen Lilly of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Linda (Mark) Meier of Lakeville, Minnesota, Jim (Deb) Lilly of Waterloo, Iowa, Patty (Doug) Svobodny of Lakeville, Minnesota, Chris (Carol) Lilly of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Nikki (Jamie) Wilson of Cedar Falls, Iowa & Bo (Wendy) Lilly of Ankeny, Iowa; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 3 siblings: Julia Caparelli, Frances Youngblut & John Greco.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: James; brother Dave & 3 sisters: Carrie Greco, Rosemary (Greco) Belding and Mary (Greco) Steimel.
