Eric J. Maberry, 58, of Wadena, Iowa, went to meet his heavenly Father on Sunday morning, April 14, 2024, at his home.
Funeral Service: 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 19, 2024, at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Arlington with Pastor Josh Hansen officiating.
Visitation: 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
Military Graveside Service by the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard and the Wadena American Legion Honor Guard.
Interment: Taylorsville Cemetery, Arlington, Iowa.

Eric Jay Maberry was born December 9, 1965, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the son of Randy & Linda (Hawkins) Maberry. He graduated from Valley of Elgin High School in the class of 1984. Eric joined the U.S. Air Force in 1984 and honorably served in California, Alaska and Illinois. Eric was united in marriage to Teresa Louw. To this union were born two daughters, Bailey and Hannah. In 1997, Eric moved to Arizona where he worked as a carpenter. He lived there until moving back to his hometown of Wadena in August of 2022. He enjoyed woodworking, refinishing furniture and spending time in nature, in the woods or by a stream.

Hannah (Erin) Louw of Davenport;
4 Grandchildren: Tanner Mirocha, Keegan Tigges, Emma Davis & Tucker Louw;
Mother: Linda Schmitt (Lee Wescott) of Wadena;
3 Brothers: Chris (Vanessa) Schmitt of Elgin,
Adam (Amanda) Schmitt of Urbana &
Dennis (Jean) Maberry of Lake Worth, Florida;
Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles & Cousins.

Eric was preceded in death by his grandparents: George & Eleanor Maberry; father: Randy Maberry and stepfather: Bryan Schmitt.
