Edward L. "Ed" Jensen, Sr., 62, of Randalia, Iowa, died Wednesday afternoon, March 8, 2023, at UnityPoint Health - Allen Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Maynard, Iowa is assisting the family. Online obituary at www.jamisonschmitzfuneralhome.com Edward Lee Jensen was born March 27, 1960, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Richard Lee and Barbara Lee (Tyler) Jensen. In 1978, he graduated from West Central High School in Maynard. Ed proudly served in the United States Air Force. On December 22, 1983, he was united in marriage to Guadalupe Lopez in Las Vegas, Nevada. Over the years, Ed was employed at Midwest Contractors in Cedar Falls, Iowa and Manatts, Inc. in Oelwein. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, music, hanging out in the shop and spending time with his family. Ed is survived by his wife: Lupe Jensen of Randalia; 3 children: Mandy (Shawn) Graham of Suffolk, Virginia, Jennifer Jensen of Cedar Rapids and Ed (Kari) Jensen, Jr. of Oelwein; 5 grandchildren: Trinity, Edward, Scarlet, Jayla and Jade; 4 siblings: Darlene Piper of Randalia, Shawn (Joseph) Duffy of Fairbank, Susan (Bruce) Osterloh of Camanche and Jolene Murphy of Oelwein; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law: Roy Piper, Jr.; and uncle: Ron Jensen.
