Dorna Kay Pendleton, 68, of Oelwein, Iowa died on Wednesday morning, August 1, 2012 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa Memorial Service: 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Harvest Baptist Church in Oelwein, Iowa; Officiating: Rev. Jacob Shinn; Inurnment at a later date; There will be no visitation; Arrangements are with the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein, Iowa A Memorial Fund has been established in her name Dorna Kay Pendleton was born on May 3, 1944 at Lapeer, Michigan, the daughter of Omar and Mildred Pendleton. She married William Charles Lester and they later divorced. Dorna was a homemaker and was a member of the Harvest Baptist Church in Oelwein. Dorna is survived by: 2 Sons--Daniel (Charlene) Lester of Oelwein, Iowa and Jonathan (Ronda) Lester of Marshalltown, Iowa 2 Grandchildren--Thomas Lester and Dylan Lester Step-Grandson--Josh Wyatt She was preceded in death by her Parents and her Husband (William Charles Lester in 1989)
