David Weaver, 48, of Randalia, Iowa died on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at his home.

Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein with Pastor Pam Reinig officiating. Visitation: 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday and for one hour before the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
A Memorial Fund has been established.

David Michael Weaver was born on September 21, 1968 in Oelwein, Iowa the son of Dennis Lee & Carol Ann (Merfeld) Weaver. He graduated from Oelwein Community High School in the Class of 1987. David was united in marriage to Elizabeth Ann Hogan on November 20, 1993 in Oelwein, Iowa. Dave and Beth made their home in Oelwein until moving to rural Randalia in 2003. Dave worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator and was most recently a project manager for the Baker Group of Des Moines. He worked for many years with his father at Weaver Construction. Dave was a kind, loving man who put everyone ahead of himself. Dave enjoyed motor sports, fishing, kayaking, spending time outdoors but most of all spending time with his family.

Dave is survived by his Wife: Beth Weaver of Randalia; 3 Children: D.J. Weaver of Oelwein, Cammi Weaver of Cedar Falls & Timothy Weaver of Randalia; Mother: Carol (Rich) Waters of Owatonna, Minnesota; Father: Dennis Weaver of Oelwein; 2 Sisters: Diann (Brien) Cross of Fairbank & Heather (Matt) Cordes of Springville; Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and the Extended Hogan Family.
Dave was preceded in death by his grandparents: Cletus & Celeste Merfeld and Jim & Gerry Weaver.
