Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein, Iowa; Officiating: Chaplain Ginny Bass with Cedar Valley Hospice; Visitation: from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home and after 9:30 A.M. on Tuesday;
Interment: Garden of Memories Cemetery at Waterloo, Iowa at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday

Cynthia Lee Shader was born on November 20, 1956 at Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Paul J. and Darlleen Mae (Fairbanks) Shader. She graduated from Central High School in Waterloo, Iowa in 1974. Cynthia married Dan Ray Bernard on September 3, 1994 at Waterloo, Iowa. She worked at Powers Manufacturing Co. in Sumner, Iowa and later at the ALC Group Home and Full Circle both in Oelwein. Cynthia enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, her dogs, she just learned to crochet, Christmas and the 4th of July.
