Curtis Theodore Kepner Obituary (1942

Curtis Theodore Kepner was born May 26, 1942 at Bradford, Illinois the son of Leonard T. and Iva B. Swanson Kepner. The family moved to the Winthrop, Iowa area where Curtis attended the Winthrop Schools and graduated with the High School class of 1960. He then served in the US Army from 1960 until 1963. Curtis worked for Reilly Construction as a semi driver for ten years until disabled at work. Curtis entered into his eternal rest on Friday September 1, 2006 at the Knoxville Veteran's Hospital in Knoxville, Iowa following a lengthy illness. He was 64 years of age. He was preceded in death by his father Leonard T. Kepner. Survivors include his daughter Shelley (Jay) Lee of Minco, Okalahoma; two grandsons: J.T. Lee and Justin Lee; his sister Marilyn Jensen of Marshalltown, Iowa, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday September 5, 2006 in the Fawcett Funeral Home at Winthrop with Rev. Carrol Robinson officiating. Interment with military rites will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Winthrop.
